The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has called a press conference to respond to the formation of a new political student organization emerging from the July-August uprising. The conference is scheduled for Monday at 4 PM at Dhaka University's Modhur Canteen. In a message sent by movement coordinator Abu Bakar Mazumdar, it was stated that the press briefing aims to address the implications of forming a new political student body in the wake of the July uprising.

He emphasized that engaging in power struggles rather than focusing on critical tasks is an insult to the martyrs.

Food and Land Ministry Adviser Ali Imam Majumder announced that ahead of Ramadan, the government will distribute 300,000 tons of rice in March and April under a food assistance program. A tragic accident in Chandpur’s Hajiganj claimed the life of construction worker Md. Shahjalal Mona (23) after he fell from the sixth floor of an under-construction building on Sunday afternoon. A massive pile-up involving five vehicles occurred on the Dhaka-Mawa Highway in Srinagar, Munshiganj, due to dense fog, leaving 20 people injured.
