The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched missile and drone attacks on the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman. Brigadier Yahya Saree confirmed this was the third attack in the past 24 hours, calling it part of Yemen’s response against enemy positions. Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has warned that as long as "the Zionist regime" continues to blockade Gaza, attacks on ships and occupied territories will persist. This escalation follows multiple U.S. airstrikes in Sanaa, Sa’ada, and Hudaydah, which killed three civilians.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has announced plans for an expanded military operation to take control of more areas in Gaza. Katz stated, "A significant portion of the population will be evacuated from combat zones." Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi may meet Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit, according to Dr. Khalilur Rahman, the Chief Adviser’s special envoy. During a press briefing on Wednesday, he stated, "Dr. Yunus is the next chairman of BIMSTEC, so discussions with all national leaders regarding future plans are necessary. A request has been made for a meeting with PM Modi, and we are optimistic that it will take place." Dr. Yunus is set to depart for Bangkok at 9 AM on Thursday and is scheduled to return on Friday at 8 PM.
