Condemning the Chhatra League's attack, he declared that such political violence will have no place in the new Bangladesh.

Dr. Tasnim Zara, Senior Joint Member Secretary of the National Citizens’ Party (NCP), stated that Gopalganj belongs to all of Bangladesh and no individual or family can claim ownership of the country. Malaysian immigration authorities arrested 494 undocumented migrants, including Bangladeshis, during a raid on the Putra Permai Selesa Apartments in Serikambangan. Banned activists from the Chhatra League attacked a National Citizens Party (NCP) rally in Gopalganj, part of the month-long ‘July March.’ On Wednesday morning, a group led by district general secretary Ataur Rahman Pial threw petrol bombs at police vehicles on the Ulpur link road, setting them on fire. Later, they attacked and vandalized the convoy of UNO M Rakibul Hasan in Baultali Union. The UNO confirmed that these attacks were aimed at sabotaging the rally. Three police officers were injured before the military intervened to restore order. Police have also blamed Awami League and Chhatra League supporters for the violence.

Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuad, Secretary General of the AB Party, has stated that an upper house of parliament would be futile unless it ensures power balance and accountability, potentially becoming a burden on the state. In Muradnagar, Comilla, local Jamaat leader Mahbub Alam Munshi threatened to physically assault Upazila Engineer Kazi Faisal Bari Purno and throw him out of his office. A 21-second video clip of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing Munshi engaged in a heated argument over a road repair application. Munshi claimed he became agitated due to the engineer’s negligence.
