A clash between the United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) and the Parbatya Chattogram Jana Samhati Samiti (JSS), led by Santu Larma, erupted in Manikchhari, Rangamati, on Sunday morning. Authorities in Debidwar, Comilla, shut down five illegal brick kilns and imposed fines totaling 500,000 BDT. UN Secretary-General António Guterres left Dhaka on Sunday morning after a four-day official visit. Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan and High Representative for Rohingya Affairs Khalilur Rahman bid him farewell at the airport. Before leaving, he had a phone conversation with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus. During his visit, Guterres met with high-ranking officials and visited Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, where he shared an Iftar meal with 100,000 Rohingya refugees.

A ward boy at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) has been accused of stopping the oxygen supply to a newborn after the family failed to provide a tip. As a result, the infant, who was undergoing treatment, passed away. A three-member investigation committee has been formed, with a report expected within a week. At least nine people were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on Beit Lahia, Gaza.
