She highlighted that while the project’s allocation of BDT 5 billion is secondary, environmental sustainability must remain the priority. Hasan stressed that the campus construction should preserve the ecological integrity of the surrounding Baral River and grazing lands in the Chalan Beel region.

Between 8:00 AM Sunday and 8:00 AM Monday, 234 people were hospitalized across Bangladesh due to dengue fever, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). A court has imposed a travel ban on Mihir Kanti Majumder, Chairman of the Udvash Board of Directors, along with nine others. The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dhaka has strongly condemned Israel’s deadly assault on Iranian territory, which killed several senior military commanders, renowned scientists, and innocent civilians, including women and children.
