Delwar Hossain Delu, the Union BNP president of Feni's Pahgachhia Union, has been suspended for forcing the mothers of two teens accused of theft to be publicly humiliated. The incident occurred when the mothers were subjected to this punishment in front of hundreds of people for allegedly stealing pigeons and chickens. The video of the incident went viral on social media.

Following an attack on Hasnat Abdullah’s vehicle in Chandna Chourasta area, police conducted an overnight operation in several locations. Hasnat, returning from an event in Salna, Gazipur, was injured when his car was attacked by a group of 4 to 5 motorbikes. The police escorted him to Dhaka under protection. So far, 54 suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack, and the operation continues.

The Health Sector Reform Commission has submitted a report to Chief Adviser Dr. Yunus, recommending that primary healthcare be made a constitutional right. Professor Abul Kalam Azad, head of the commission, stated that despite a limited budget, this is achievable. Chinmoy Das, the spokesperson for the Sanatani Jagarone Jot, has been ordered to be arrested in the lawyer Alif murder case in Chittagong. He appeared virtually from jail during the hearing. Starting Monday, nearly 400,000 government primary school teachers will engage in an hour-long work stoppage demanding their promotion to the 11th grade.
