Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman vowed that fascists would not be allowed to establish a foothold in the country. A schoolgirl in Hatiya, Noakhali, attempted suicide by ingesting poison after being sexually harassed. The victim is currently under medical care. A case has been filed, naming three accused: Md. Lablu, Md. Hasan, and Rubel Uddin. According to the complaint, the girl was harassed while going to the toilet at night and had previously been subjected to repeated stalking on her way to school. Overwhelmed by shame and distress, she consumed rat poison at home that night.

The besieged Gaza Strip, often described as the world's largest open-air prison, is facing severe shortages of food, water, and medicine. Due to Israeli blockades on aid supply, Palestinians are enduring starvation and extreme hardships. On March 18, Israeli forces launched indiscriminate attacks in Gaza, killing 432 Palestinians, including 173 children, 88 women, and 32 elderly civilians. Bassem Naim, a Hamas political bureau member and former health minister of Gaza, called on the international community to intervene, urging Bangladeshis to continue their steadfast support for Palestine. "Your solidarity shines as a beacon of hope in this darkness," he stated, appealing for humanitarian assistance and pressure on global platforms to stop the genocide.

Advisor Mahfuz Alam stated that in 1972 and 1975, the Awami League was installed in power by Delhi and has been controlled from there ever since. He asserted that justice and reforms must be visible before the elections. He further emphasized that if internal conflicts among political parties cease, the national parliamentary elections will take place on time. During an Awami League procession, three individuals were detained and later handed over to Mohammadpur police after being physically assaulted. The detainees include Lubna (35), a central member of the Jubo Mohila League, along with Sirajul (45) and Raju (30).
