Many victims are reluctant to stay in hospitals due to safety concerns. Though government and NGO rehabilitation programs exist, many prefer government jobs and are hesitant about private sector opportunities. The meeting noted that financial assistance alone is insufficient, and besides the Ministry of Health, Disaster Management and Social Welfare ministries should also be involved in rehabilitation.
