Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H. Mansur has responded to allegations circulating from Awami Cell sources, claiming that he purchased a luxury apartment worth Tk 45 crore in Dubai for his daughter, Mehrin Sara Mansur. Clarifying the matter, the governor stated, “It’s my daughter’s property, bought back in 2023—long before I became Governor. My daughter is married and resides in Dubai with her husband and children for business reasons. Her name is on the ownership documents, and mine is mentioned only as her father, as required by legal formalities.” Criticizing Prime Minister’s Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy for raising the issue, Mansur said, “It’s unfortunate that Joy is talking about something so irrelevant.
